While stuck in Phase Two of Florida’s reopening due to COVID-19, most of us are spending more time at home than usual. Many of us are still working and virtually learning from home. With limited places to go and things to do, the home has taken on a whole new meaning and life of its own. It isn’t just where the heart is anymore. Home is where EVERYTHING is – school, work, and play!

Because of the significant amount of time spent at home, many are using it as an opportunity to give their home a little TLC. Some of it is much-needed, such as repairs, and some aesthetic, such as new landscaping. Whether you are doing needed repairs or just making up projects to keep yourself busy, your home is getting new life breathed into it.

When you spend the majority of your time at home, it makes sense to want to make it as comfortable as possible, both inside and outside. We thought we might help by suggesting some ways to make your home even more comfortable!

Making Your Home More Comfortable Outdoors

A great way to add comfort to the outside of your home is with a hammock. They even make 2-person hammocks, in case you want to snuggle with your sweetie or your two kids want to hang out together! They make hammock stands, so it’s okay if you don’t have trees on which to hang a hammock. Hammocks are great for naps, reading, and stargazing at night when it cools down outside.

Making Your Home More Comfortable Indoors

For the interior, you don’t have to spend a ton on new furniture. What about buying something fun like a giant bean bag for kicking back and relaxing? Or, you can buy new pillows for everyone’s beds and a fuzzy blanket for watching TV in the evening. And, as much as you may not want to do it, tidying up and organizing your home makes it a more relaxing space!

Making Your Home More Comfortable with Window Tinting

Lastly, we would like to suggest having your home’s windows tinted. You may not have expected that suggestion, but we assure you that it is a great one! Having your home’s windows tinted helps to regulate the temperature in your home. Your air conditioner doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain the temperature. In turn, your electric bill will decrease! So, now your home and your bank account are more comfortable. You can’t beat that!
