Auto and home window tinting makes for a great Christmas gift! If you, like most of us, have a few of those “hard to buy for” relatives, then Solar Solutions has the solution for you – our window tinting!  You may not have thought of window tinting as a gift before, but we think you will be convinced that it will make a great gift for someone you love.

What Are the Benefits of a Window Tinting Gift?

Window tinting protects your loved one from the sun’s harmful UV rays which cause painful sunburns as well as skin cancer.  This is the most important benefit because the health of your loved ones far outweighs any other benefit.  According to statistics, Florida ranks second in the United States for the highest rate of new melanoma cases.  The sun is no joke in Florida, and window tint can help protect you.

Window tinting helps to protect your loved one’s vehicle.  The sun is not kind to your car’s interior.  It fades upholstery and cracks both leather/vinyl upholstery and dashboards.  The UV rays and the heat they carry break down the plastic in the dashboard and dry out the leather or vinyl upholstery.  UV rays are a destructive force.  But, our window tint blocks out approximately 99% of UV rays.  Without question, the interior of your car will benefit from window tinting.

Who Should I Buy It For?

To say you should buy it for everyone in your family seems a little greedy and self-serving on our part, and we don’t want to be greedy, especially at Christmas time!  So, here is our honest answer regarding for whom you should buy window tint!

  • Any car lovers in your family: Anyone who has an appreciation for cars but hasn’t gotten around to getting their windows tinted would appreciate this gift. Once it has been purchased for them, they will take the time to get it done!
  • Older relatives: Window tinting helps protect you from the sun’s harmful UV rays, therefore it helps protect you from the rays that cause cancer. This can be especially beneficial to relatives who may have already had skin cancer. This is more likely to be an older relative as they have had more years of sun exposure.  Let them know you care about their health with the gift of window tinting.
  • Younger drivers and commuters: We grouped these two sets of drivers together because commuters are obviously in their car more than the average driver and that may be true of the younger drivers in your family, as well. Younger drivers are excited by the newfound freedom that driving has brought them.  They never wanted to walk or ride their bike to the store to grab you a gallon of milk, but now they are drinking it just so they can drive to the store at 9:00 at night to buy milk!  More time in the car means more sun exposure; so again, window tinting protects your family from those harmful UV rays.
  • A loved one who can’t afford it: If you have a loved one with untinted windows that you know can’t afford to purchase this gift for themselves, then he or she is one of the best candidates for this gift! It is so fun to do something special for someone you love, especially when you know they can’t do it for themselves.  Think of the excitement on their faces when they open their Solar Solutions gift certificate from you!
  • Anyone with untinted windows: This may seem way too obvious, but it’s true! We say this because tinting your windows holds so many benefits for your relatives and their cars. We aren’t trying to tell you to buy it for EVERYONE in your family with untinted windows, just one of them (or two…)  Let’s look at the benefits.
